CIMAS is a Sovereign and Independent entity of the Universal Masonry, of undogmatic and liberal inspiration, in the spirit of the Masonry of the Third Millennium.

Ten Obediences of Latin America signed the document of its creation, the day September 21th of 2002, in San Pablo, during the festivities of the Equinox of Spring, promoted by the Obedience hostess, the Great Lodge Architects of Aquarius.

In this year 2005, between the days 19 and 22 of September, it will be promoted, in Montevideo, Uruguay, the 3rd. Meeting of the Confederation.
